1:1 NUTRITION COACHING: OVERVIEW

A bespoke service in which you will work 1:1 with our nutrition coaches to achieve your personal goals.

 

We work with athletes and the general public wanting to unlock their full potential, to take their health and performance to another level. 
 
This is to cater for anyone that wants a high level of accountability, regular check-ins and a more personalised nutrition strategy. 
 

This includes:

  • Monthly 30 min zoom consult

  • Weekly online check in

  • Unlimited email support

  • Online learning portal

HOW IT WORKS

1) Initial consult 

  • You start off by filling out an in-depth pre-consultation form, which gives us a good insight into your lifestyle and nutrition history.

  • This directs our first consultation, so we’re able to piece together a bespoke strategy that works for you, your preferences, lifestyle and goals.

2) MARCHON Nutrition Hub

  • Educational videos, infographics, FAQs, recipe books and more, covering numerous topics that support your goals.

  • The first port of call if you have any questions - there’s a good chance the answers are in the hub.

3) Weekly check-ins and video feedback 

  • Our weekly psychological and physical analysis through a check-in form. 

  • We’ll then get back to you with a video response, providing you with personal feedback, advice and guidance.

  • This sets you up with a strategy and plan for the week ahead, so we are constantly progressing towards your goal.

4) Monthly consults

  • We acknowledge the benefits of speaking with you face-to-face but know that constant communication doesn’t mean effective communication. 

  • You can expect a follow-up consult within two weeks of your initial consultation.

  • From then on our monthly 30 minute Zoom consultation allows us for a proactive and efficient catch up in person.

5) Email support 

  • We’re on hand to answer your questions in between check-ins via email; to support you when you’re struggling, give advice when needed, and a nudge in the right direction where necessary.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

We hold ourselves to high standards at MARCHON and we know that results don’t come easy, so we expect you to put the effort in too. This includes:

  • Filling out the check-in form every Monday

  • Turning up to consults on time

  • Keeping us in the loop with how things are going

  • Contacting us if you are struggling - although we are experts in the field of nutrition, we aren’t mind readers. You wouldn’t need a coach if things were always plain sailing, so communication is key for us to help you.

  • Honesty. It’s essential for effective coaching, from our end and yours.

WHAT NOT TO EXPECT

  • A meal plan from us - they might serve a purpose for a short while, but they provide very little education for life after coaching. 

  • We won’t spoon feed you - our coaching is a two way street. Imagine we are the car and you are the driver. From our experience, clients who take autonomy over their own nutrition, strategy and decisions get much better results, and ones that last. 

  • A one-size fits all approach. We work with you to analyse your relationship with tools such as MyFitnessPal and weighing scales, to ensure we find the most appropriate method for you as an individual. You are not a robot and we won’t treat you like one.

 

Your wellbeing is always our number one priority, so if at any point we see any signs of any serious eating pathologies or disorders, we will not hesitate to terminate coaching and refer you to a specialist in this area.
